This little girl has such great eye contact with my camera! Even at her newborn session, she seemed so “at ease” with having her photo taken. And, it only helps that she is just so darn beautiful! Enjoy the lovliness of this little baby girl…

I had the opportunity to photograph our church’s vacation bible school. Though this is definitely not your typical VBS scenerio. Our church meets at an area in Nashville that consists of low-income housing to host our fun activities for the kids all week. It is so amazing to look around and see the kids & adults loving on these children. There is not one adult without a child on their shoulders- well, except me!
But, I will say I had about 50 girl’s hands on my stomach- amazed at this baby boy growing inside of me. So sweet! I am so proud to be apart of a church that does not want to stay within our walls but desires to reach out to those who may not know Jesus. I love West End Community Church!

Ok- so I KNOW I am SO behind on posting photos on this blog. I will say this pregnancy has left me lazy with the things I don’t have to do… And, I am not really sure if anyone reads this blog anyway. So, if you do- then, please forgive me for my tardiness in post lately!
Moving on… I took these photos sometime in the last few months and I just adore this little girl! Her eyes are some of the most beautiful big, blue eyes I have ever photographed. They are truly spellbinding. And, don’t you just LOVE the green monogram on the white bubble- so cute & different!
.

For almost a month, it rained non-stop here in Nashville. This session (along w/ several others) was postponed many times and then, finally the SUN appeared! I have never been so grateful for dry weather… My time with this family was so much fun. I always tell them that I hope our little boy is as cute as their little one! He is adorable with those blue eyes and blonde hair!

This family is full of pinklalicious, girly fun! With three girls all under the age of four- this Mom definitely has her hands full. These photos remind me of the beauty that can be found in the innocence of young girls, at a time when they are not fully aware of themselves. I wish we would all stay this way and enjoy the way God made us uniquely beautiful as women! Enjoy these gorgeous girls…

I had a great time getting to know this fun little family out at the Ag Center last weekend. Their little 6 month old was so great for the camera and was such a trooper! Photographing little boys always makes me excited for this little one on his way soon into our family…

This little tot is the only girl in the family and her Momma wanted to capture those sweet little girl moments that only girls can capture. Though she was a little lost without her twin brother to keep her company! Don’t you just love those little one year old legs??

This photoshoot was special because not only was it this little baby girl’s first photoshoot, it was also my first time with my new camera! And, what a way to break it in… She is such a beautiful baby girl and it was so much fun to spend a little time with her. Here are some of my fav’s.

What a fun time I had with my friends out at the park! They are always up for anything & allow me to use my creativity which is SO fun! I can’t believe this sweet girl is already 6 months old. Time flies!

Last Saturday out at the park was a perfect day for photos! My favorite thing is that they brought their Easter eggs along for the time together. It always makes it more fun for me when my clients think of creative ways to involve their children in the photos. And, this was a perfect idea since Easter is right around the corner! Enjoy…

She is growing up way too fast & I seem to forget to take her photo. So, here are a few!

What a great time I had with this sweet family! The big sister was very proud to show off her baby brother and she didnt’ mind stealing the spotlight a few times either.

This sweet baby girl was so much fun to photograph. She was enamored by the ceiling fan (just like my little baby was) so that definitely helped us in our quest for a good shot. I love going into homes of new babies and how it reminds me of the sweet times that lie ahead for me in a few months and the memories of the first few months home with my first. Nothing like it in the world!

Seriously, this friend of mine should be a pregnancy model. She is so beautiful! I told her that there is a show called, Runway Moms, and she would fit right in with those gorgeous, tall preggo models. If only she was at the beginning of her pregnancy, I would send these photos in to the agency! Maybe number 4? Hmmm…

This past weekend I met a sweet family with an adorable 6 month little boy at my home for some photos. He blew me away with his fun personality & great smiles! I could not get enough of him in his “birthday suit”- rolls & all! There is nothing like a well fed little baby. I miss those sweet rolls… Thankfully, they will be making their way back to our family in just a few months!

I was so excited for this time together with my sweet friends! They are expecting their first child (we don’t know if it is a girl/boy!) in just a few weeks. She is such a beautiful person- on the inside & out- and it just radiates in these photos. I also loved watching them interact- they are so in love! I can’t wait to get my hands on that little baby- he or she will be perfect!

I have been taking photos of these 2 little girls over the last year. Little Ava was first photographed in her Mommy’s tummy and then for her 3 months and now on to 6 months. It is always amazing to watch little one’s grow so fast and it is even more amazing for me to see it behind the lens of my camera. Sometimes I still can’t believe that I actually get paid to do this! This was also my first shoot with my new lens… It is so much better for indoor photos!

As you can tell from these photos, we were all in the Christmas mood! Their Mommy is a very talented seamstress and designer who hand-makes many of their clothing.. how adorable are they?! You can tell from some of the photos that it was COLD but they were troopers through the entire hour together outside! Thanks for a great time…
After leaving my time with these two favorites, I came to the conclusion that they were born to be models. The little 3 year old boy was especially in rare form- just eating up the camera! As always, it was great spending time with these kiddos and their Mommy (a great friend) who is expecting her THIRD! Enjoy…
I am so excited to have this family in Nashville. They were some college friends of mine and just moved here from Texas. It has been fun hanging out and getting to know their sweet little boy who is the same age as Bella Grace. Our session was perfect- great weather, beautiful trees and the horse came up at the very end. The icing on the cake!
Go to my “photo card” link in order to see some examples of my Christmas Cards for this year. I can’t believe it is already that time of year again! I hope to update this blog soon with my latest photo sessions…
Merry Christmas a little early!

I photographed this family a while back while the baby was still in Mom’s tummy. She is now here and is so sweet to photograph! I had a great time at their home in Franklin watching the sisters interact with one another. Their Dad is an amazing Portrait artist and has a studio in The Factory at Franklin. Thanks again for a great time!
I photographed this little guy when he was just a little baby. They live in Louisville so I had not seen him since our last session. He has grown to be such an adorable boy with a great personality! It was a blast watching him be “all boy”- picking up sticks, playing in the rocks & dirt, etc. Just the way it is meant to be!
